True Riches

Have riches or the things of this life make us lukewarm towards God? Have we allow these things to become our source of security? The truth is these things provide a false sense of security. Our security is in God and His Word. The earth will fade away but God and his Word will not fade away. If we are lukewarm, God will spit us out of his mouth! Let us be on fire for Him and live for His glory here on earth. Let's use our riches to win souls. Our true riches is in Him. I have read in a book by Choo Thomas that Heaven is really a thousand times more beautiful than earth. I think if we received such a revelation, then we would not be so attached to the world and it's 'beauty.' but instead, invest into eternity.
